As soon as we leave the port of Milazzo we will sail towards the island of Lipari, as well as the capital of the Aeolian Islands, with arrival and disembarkation at the port of Marina Corta.

Lipari is the largest island, the beating heart of the archipelago and extends to the center of the Aeolian Islands characterized by the picturesque Faraglioni, two volcanic necks generated by ancient volcanic activity and sculpted by the sea and the wind: " Petra Lunga " and " Petra Menalda ”.

From the port of Marina Corta, for those who want to get around on foot, crossing Piazza Ugo di Sant'Onofrio, full of bars and restaurants, a visit to the castle or the Acropolis is a must - citadel where, inside the walls, the cathedral of the Patron Saint "San Bartolomeo", an archaeological area, an ancient monastery and the "Luigi Bernabo Brea" archaeological museum are located.

Instead, walking along the main street "Vittorio Emanuele" or via "Garibaldi", immersed in a combination of narrow streets and shops, you can immerse yourself in a real Aeolian climate.

Those who instead like to enjoy the scenic beauty of Lipari, we recommend a guided tour by bus.

At about 13.00 a direct and short connection will allow you to reach the island of Vulcano.

Vulcano is the second active volcano in the archipelago and, despite having shown its last eruptive activity in 1888, it still welcomes its visitors today with the characteristic smell of sulfur, determined by the constant sulphurous fumes. In fact, right next to the port, there it is a thermal area with a pool of warm mud whose beneficial effects on the bones and skin prompt visitors to immerse themselves and spread the mud collected with their bare hands on their skin. Close by, the hot water beaches with sulphate pools and the renowned Black Beaches which are made up of a very fine black volcanic sand typical of this island.

We also recommend climbing the "Gran Cratere della Fossa" and admiring the breathtaking 360° landscape and a visit to Vulcanello and the west coast where the "Grotta del Cavallo", the "Piscina di Venere", the mountain in the shape of a head of a lion and, further south, the picturesque Faro di Gelso.

Approximately 16.00 departure from Vulcano for Milazzo with expected arrival at approximately 17.45
