Duration: Approximately 3 hours of slow walking with stops for observations

After a short visit to the ancient Rock Sanctuary of Sant'Antonio (from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire bay), we will take the nature trail that passes through a centuries-old olive grove near the lighthouse and leads to the extreme point of Capo.

The trail will guide us to the sea, where we will admire the enchanting natural pool commonly called "Piscina di Venere" (Venus's Pool).

The trail is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation, mainly composed of mastic trees, euphorbia, and Artemisia. From there, continuing along the path, we will return to the initial starting point in Piazzetta Sant'Antonio. During the visit, we will make several stops for observations and explanations about the sea, flora, fauna, geology, and history.

Clothing and additional information about the excursions:

We recommend wearing sneakers (preferably hiking shoes) and bringing 1 liter of water, a rain jacket, a hat, a spare T-shirt, a sweatshirt, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
